Last week of Summer for kids
Hello All,
We have been busy, busy here in the Kendrick household. This is the last week before school starts and we there are mixed feelings and emotions in the house about it. Keonte is very excited and looking forward to starting 6th grade and middle school. My goodness, I have a middle schooler! He did very well in placements tests and tested into all AP classes. I guess we did something right by homeschooling them the last 8 years!
Cheyanne is a bit nervous about starting school but I think it is mainly being afraid of the unknown. I am torn because I was prepared for Keonte going to try school but not Cheyanne. I am still very unsure about how I feel about it but I keep reminding myself that if it comes to it I can always pull her out of school and go back to homeschooling. In the meantime, unfortunately my own schooling did not come through for this semester and I have no clue what I am going to do with my time yet, most likely volunteering at their schools to remain involved to some capacity.
I am currently looking for contracted data entry/transcribing work from home...so if anyone out there has any job opportunities I would appreciate it. My WPM are between 65-80 and my KPH are between 11, 400 - 11,600.
This week Keonte had 2 auditions. One for Missoula's Children's Theatre, which is a traveling 1 week theatre camp that goes around and the kids audition on Monday them rehearse Mon-Fri and perform Fri and Sat. It is very cool and they always have fun with it. The second audition was at the Wichita Theatre here in town and is a bigger production we will find out the results for that audition tomorrow.
Well, we have to get headed to rehearsals now. Sorry this blog entry is so rushed but just wanted to update you all.
Have a great rest of the week.

Wow!!! You do have a lot going on. I wish you all the best and I'm sure Cheyanne will do fine in her grade as well. Wish the kids the best in their auditions. :-)
