Hello All and Welcome to All Things: Kendrick Family. 

I am Sharon and married to my best friend Kevin. We have two kiddos: our son, Keonte, 10 (soon to be 11) and our daughter Cheyanne, 7. So our house is hardly ever dull.
I enjoy reading blogs and have been tempted for a couple of years to attempt a blog of my own. A few friends have inspired me to try and well, here we are. I thought of many different topics and subjects to blog about but could not decide on one in particular. We are a non-denominational Christian family with multi racial backgrounds and we have been a homeschooling family for over 7 years but this year we are going to attempt public school. That in itself could be a blog...lol. I am currently undergoing a fitness journey to lose weight and become fit. We are a military family and recently moved to Texas from Las Vegas. I am currently going back to college for myself in an attempt to finish my degree. I enjoy couponing "realistically" not "extreme", crafting, organizing, stockpiling, animals, friends, family, and so many more interests. So, as you can see I have a wide variety of topics to choose from. Not wanting to limit myself to just one topic I chose to make this blog more of a journal of our lives...The Kendrick Family.

    YAY! I need to feel "included" here... I miss you guys like crazy.. You know what.. I just realized I did this when I was preggo with Alex and um... yeah.. apparently I'm still pregnant according to my blog!!! LOL :)

    Please update yours more than I have mine, who knows maybe you'll motivate me to get mine going again!

Could it possibly be.....

We woke up this morning to such cool weather! As I went to let the dog out this morning I actually felt a chill. It was so nice! I had to stand out there and just feel the breeze and smell the air. Having had over 100 degree temperatures since April it is so nice to have a glimpse of fall weather. At noon today the temp in the car read 67 degrees! Love it! Fall is my favorite season. It may because my birthday is in the fall, or the changing of the leaves, the crispness of the air, the holidays and family and friends, football season, and oh so many more things that I absolutely adore. Technically we still have 3 weeks but I am going to take advantage of the weather and start some of my annual fall activities. Today we will be baking homemade granola bars and making homemade play dough in fall colors. I bake A LOT in the fall so local friends be ready for lots of goodies. My famous Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, homemade caramel popcorn, and much more...lol. Do not be surprised...
