I have a habit of making it to the 2 month mark and tapering off on working out. I am determined to get through this habit of quitting after 2 months. Unfortunately, there has been a coincidentally timed snag and my walking buddy will be moving away. This normally would have discouraged me and I would have just said well I have no one to walk with so forget it.
I am bummed but I am not letting this be a reason to quit.
I still have some organizing to do from the move but I am determined to get my exercise bike out of the garage and into the house as well as starting to box on the slam man. I will definitely miss the companionship and accountability of having a workout partner but I will find another. My husband is always willing but at times I feel I cannot keep up. His fitness level is far above mine and I get disheartened when I feel I am so behind.
That is another mindset that I have to work on changing. I feel as if it is impossible for me to get to that point but then I remember the quote above.
Over the last few months I have been having dreams of me running, not from anything just running and enjoying it. In the dream I can physically feel the lengthening of my legs and the muscles rippling while running along the pavement. What is ironic is I have always hated running. I may just have to step out of my box and see if this is something I can do. I will never know if it is possible if I do not try, right?
Love to you all and stop in every now and then to keep me accountable.

You're awesome, Sharon! I know exactly what you mean about trying to give up and make excuses if you lose a workout buddy and/or are not as fit as someone next to you. But you're right - YOU can get there too! You just have to keep it up and make no excuses......none at all. We know you can do it, and your dreams of running means YOU know you can do it too!! Now it's just a matter of making it happen. Know that we're halfway around the world rooting you on! Go, Sharon, Go!!!
