Thankful Thursday

Good Evening All,
I am late, but it is still Thursday here. I hope you all have been having a great week. This week went by fairly quickly for me but I am grateful. We have several things happening right now and I am looking forward to them.

So, have you all been smiling? Giving someone a compliment? Doing something for someone that cannot do for you? If you have, doesn't it make you feel good? If not, its never too late to start.

Well my thankfuls for today are:

  • Meeting new people - It is always nice to meet new people. You never know who will be in your life for just that moment or forever or somewhere in between the two. I strongly believe that everyone single person we meet is put across our paths for a reason. Whether that reason is for our or their benefit is a mystery, whether it is to become a friend, a lesson, or just to give someone a kind word or gesture when they may need it. I raise my children to treat everyone they meet with kindness and acknowledgement because you never know who that person is or who they may become. We do not know what they have been through or where they are going. Your interaction with them is one that they may remember and I hope they remember it in a positive way.

  • Today I am thankful that we received an application for the house in Vegas. We have not had tenants in the house for a couple months now and it will be a great burden lifted when we finally get it rented out again.

  •  I am thankful for being able to continue with school. I have been blessed enough to be able to achieve grades high enough to receive scholarships and pay for school. If it was not for scholarships and grants I would be unable to attend school. I love learning new things and believe it is never too late or you are ever too old to learn something new. I met a lady in her 50's recently that was just going to college for the first time because she never had the opportunity to go when she was younger. She was so excited and happy. Our minds are an amazing thing. Do not let them go to waste. Even if it is not a formal education, learn something that interests you.
Well, I have to get some homework done myself, so with that I leave you and wish you all a great night.

Love to you all,
Sharon
