Feature Film Friday 6/8/2012

Good Morning All,
It's Friday! What are your plans for the weekend?

I was asked if I was going to do my weekly dvd and movie lists like I did for awhile a year ago. I decided I will  "try". I tend to get side tracked and my summer classes started this week so I am juggling home, school, and work right now so my time tends to get away from me. I will try to remember to update the lists as often as possible.

Lately there have not been too many movies that I have wanted to see but with summer coming up I am hoping for some good ones. Have you all see Avengers? What did you think? I really liked it, but I am a nerd...lol.

So without further ado, here is the movie list along with the list for Sheppard AFB for my local military friends:

June 8, 2012 Movie Releases:

- Bel Ami
- Dark Horse
- For the Love of Money
- Lola Versus
- Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
- Patagonia Rising
- Paul Williams Still Alive
- Peace, Love & Misunderstanding
- Prometheus
- Safety Not Guaranteed

Of course the kiddos are interested in seeing Madagascar 3, which I hope is as funny as the other 2. I am kind of interested in seeing Prometheus.

For those at Sheppard the movie list is:

FRI JUNE 08 -
1830 Safe (R) 94 min
2100 Raven (R) 110 min

SAT JUNE 09 -
1530 The Five-Year Engagement (R) 124 min
1830 Raven (R)
2100 Safe (R)

Have a great weekend all!

We woke up this morning to such cool weather! As I went to let the dog out this morning I actually felt a chill. It was so nice! I had to stand out there and just feel the breeze and smell the air. Having had over 100 degree temperatures since April it is so nice to have a glimpse of fall weather. At noon today the temp in the car read 67 degrees! Love it! Fall is my favorite season. It may because my birthday is in the fall, or the changing of the leaves, the crispness of the air, the holidays and family and friends, football season, and oh so many more things that I absolutely adore. Technically we still have 3 weeks but I am going to take advantage of the weather and start some of my annual fall activities. Today we will be baking homemade granola bars and making homemade play dough in fall colors. I bake A LOT in the fall so local friends be ready for lots of goodies. My famous Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, homemade caramel popcorn, and much more...lol. Do not be surprised...

Welcome!

Hello All and Welcome to All Things: Kendrick Family.  I am Sharon and married to my best friend Kevin. We have two kiddos: our son, Keonte, 10 (soon to be 11) and our daughter Cheyanne, 7. So our house is hardly ever dull. I enjoy reading blogs and have been tempted for a couple of years to attempt a blog of my own. A few friends have inspired me to try and well, here we are. I thought of many different topics and subjects to blog about but could not decide on one in particular. We are a non-denominational Christian family with multi racial backgrounds and we have been a homeschooling family for over 7 years but this year we are going to attempt public school. That in itself could be a blog...lol. I am currently undergoing a fitness journey to lose weight and become fit. We are a military family and recently moved to Texas from Las Vegas. I am currently going back to college for myself in an attempt to finish my degree. I enjoy couponing "realistically" not "extreme...
