Hello All,  The week is winding down and people are getting ready for the weekend. Here are the movie releases for this weekend. There are a few on the list that we are interested in seeing. I am determined to get through this habit of quitting after 2 months. Unfortunately, there has been a coincidentally timed snag and my walking buddy will be moving away. This normally would have discouraged me and I would have just said well I have no one to walk with so forget it.  I am bummed but I am not letting this be a reason to quit.  I still have some organizing to do from the move but I am determined to get my exercise bike out of the garage and into the house as well as starting to box on the slam man. I will definitely miss the companionship and accountability of having a workout partner but I will find another. My husband is always willing but at times I feel I cannot keep up. His fitness level is far above mine and I get disheartened when I feel I am so behind. ...

This weekend I had the pleasure to have our first family member visit us since we have moved. My aunt came into town for business but the odds of her being in Wichita Falls, TX. of all places was too much of a coincidence and I looked at it like a blessing especially since I have been missing family so much. We enjoyed the cat show and having her over for dinner one night. Then we made the drive to Dallas to the airport and that was a fun road trip. P.S. We finished the game on the way back Aunt Shar! Family is so important to me and I know that I can do much better with keeping in touch. Sometimes we have to take a step back from everyday life and nurture and maintain the family/friend relationships that we have. So those of you in my contact lists do not be surprised if you receive a call, text, email, or letter from me in the weeks to come. I love you all and you all are important to me.  Hello All:  I hope every one's week has been going well.  I am so pleased with this week so far. I have been eating very well and have been active everyday this week even the day I did not feel like it. My weigh in this morning was 307 exactly! That is 16 lbs. lost since start just under 8 weeks. So I am still on target for the 2lbs. a week loss.  One of the ways we have been trying to eat healthier is to decrease the amount of red meat we eat. Now if you know how much we ate before you would understand this is a big deal...lol. We had some form of red meat with almost every meal. It is cheaper. Ground beef is one of the cheapest meats you can find and when you are on a budget you get what you can afford which unfortunately is not too kind to a healthy lifestyle. Once we made the commitment to making eating healthy a priority we adjusted out grocery budget and focused on the healthier items instead of junk. Hello All, I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed yourselves. We had a great weekend. Friday night we just relaxed at home but Saturday we went to go watch the final Harry Potter film. (I will not reveal spoilers). I will just say that I was happy with the way they ended the film series. They did a good job of capturing most of the book. After watching Harry Potter with the whole family.  Cheyanne and I had mommy/daughter day. We went to go see Judy Moody at the base theatre and after that we went shopping and got to rack up on the sales! Judy Moody was a cute movie. If your children are into the books they will enjoy this movie. I really enjoyed our day. I have been truly enjoying her company lately. Don't get me wrong I have always enjoyed my daughter but it seems lately that we connect on a different level. She is getting older and I am guessing that this is just a part of her maturing and us both understanding each other better since we can communicate better. She is ...
